About

Jason is interested in how the liveness of the space is maintained with direct integration of the hall’s history being actively researched onsite – a kind of feedback loop. The unpredictability of this making process – a call and response between public and artist – is what he’s excited about, rather than developing a static work. It’s about the creative residues of practice, this singular act at the mercy of vulnerable prodding of public demands, and being friendly with the ghosts of the hall.
